Kristine is such an organized person—I knew walking into this wedding that is was going to be a lovely, smooth, wedding day, and I wasn’t disappointed. The bride and groom were handling everything calmly, and Kristine looked just radiant when I arrived. Her bridesmaids were gathered around her to help with anything she needed on her special day, and her groom was busy practicing his walk through the honor guard out of site. We got some detail shots and rode down to the 18th hole at Canyon Springs Golf Club to await the arrival of the bride for her walk down the aisle.
It was pretty breezy that day, and I remember Kristine’s veil whipping about the entire time. I loved the expression on the officiant’s face during the ceremony. He is so serious…I feel like if Chris didn’t say his vows correctly he would have to drop and give the guy 20. The kiss was sweet and Kristine’s veil decided to exit just a bit early (but was nice enough to wait until AFTER the kiss). There was a great moment during their exit down the aisle when one of the honor guards decided he needed a kiss from the bride to let them pass.
Kristine’s tears were just rolling down her cheeks during the daughter/father dance, but we all had some laughs a little later when dad decided to get funky. At the end of the night, the couple exited to a line of bubbles and one of the best get-away “cars” I have seen—a massive 18 wheeler! Chris decided to give us one last “pose” and then they rode off into the night, deafening us with the horn that I swear came from a locomotive engine…Share on Facebook
