I hate to play favorites, but I have to say that Jackie and Armando have to be up there in my top favorite people. I have a suspicion that if they didn’t live in Chorpus, I would never get any work done, because we would be having too much fun together! I absolutely love working with these two…they have that kindred dorky-ness that I so admire, lol! If you haven’t guessed already, Jackie and Armando are doing a movie/theatre theme…how cool is that?? I was so excited about incorporating their theme into their invites, that I couldn’t wait to do them. Considering that the wedding is in February, I guess we are a little ahead of the ball on these, but I don’t think they mind. I took elements from modern and vintage (even silent) films to create their trifold 4.5×5.5 horizontal invite, and we had those cute little tickets die-cut for their RSVPs. We even did custom colored envelopes to make the whole look really come together. I am so in love with these invites! I even popped some popcorn (you kind of get the craving for that when looking at theater portraits) to shoot the sample at the office.
I hate to go on and on about the invites, when the guestbook is pretty cool, too. I designed the guestbook to b a combination of modern and vintage, and we incorporated images from the theater and around the alamo from the session for this. They also gave me some great movie quotes to include. The final book is a horizontal 9×6 wth glossy pages.Share on Facebook
