I really love the idea of magnets for Save the Date cards (or even invitation inserts!), so it’s been really wonderful how popular these have been since I started offering so many sizes and options. The magnets are fun, simple ways to make sure your guests keep your wedding date in mind (and always in sight!) and to get them excited about your event before invitations can go out. I have been designing SO many lately, so these are just a teaser of may more to be posted in the future!
Allie and Kyle decided on a medium magnet–the perfect size to fit into an RSVP size envelope (the smallest regulation size you can send in the mail). We chose their two favorite images from their engagement session and incorporated their wedding color scheme of yellow and grey.
Jackie and Jason are getting married in Cabo this summer, so wanted their Save the Date card to really stand out and include enough information for their guests to start planning on thier destination event. Exciting! We knew about the destination plans when photographing their engagement session, and Jackie brought along some adorable “props” to create a travel theme. We used our favorite shot of their passports on a suitcase (with the engagement ring, of course) to bring everything together on a large 5×7 magnet with a Luxe edge. They are absolutely beautiful (especially in person), and I am sure theat each of her guests were just wowed by them when these babies were delivered! I will be working on their special Invitations later this month, and I am so excited to get started on something even cuter!!
Juanita and Robert chose to go with a simple medium Save the Date magnet with one image as the main focus–classic, clean, and elegant! I love this approach, and it really serves as a nice teaser for what will come on their amazing invitations (which I am also working on this month). You will be seeing MUCH more of these two this year, since we will be working very closely together on some exciting design projects over the next few months. Can’t wait to share it all!Share on Facebook
