Jenni and Tyler’s College Station Wedding

This wedding was a LONG time coming (they booked me months and months ago and it seems like ages since we did their engagement session) but SO worth the wait.  I really love this couple–they are so sweet and open and loving.  You can really see the caring and respect that they treat each other with, which is so refreshing!  Jenni and Tyler decided to do see each other for the first time on the wedding day in private, during a special reveal, and it was beautiful!  We had to keep all of the curious eyes away, but I love how special and intimate that moment was as Jenni walked up to Tyler and tapped him on the shoulder..then as they held hands and shared whispers and hugs.  Beautiful!  Afterwards, we got some awesome portraits done in the courtyard while we enjoyed the nice outdoor weather.  Jenni was escorted and given away by her father during the ceremony and the two were wed by a family friend (and pretty cool minister, from what I saw when I met him!) as their wedding party looked on with big smiles on their faces.  After their exit down the isle, the newlyweds walked across the sidewalk and joined their guests for delicious goodies (I will never forget the mouth-watering, gummy-bear tasting punch), a slideshow, a crazy toast, and some fun Aggie moves.

This was an early wedding, and since Jenni and Tyler had a short snack reception instead of a long night party, they were able to exit to an isle of bubbles while we still had plenty of daylight left.  This was the first time I have done POST wedding portraits, but it was awesome!  We were able to run around College Station and get really amazing portraits done at our own leisure…we visited the gorgeous building Jenni works at, the Century Tree (even caught a proposal while there, which I posted on Facebook), and then some cute little spots in downtown Bryan.  Did I mention how crazy I am over her second dres and accessories?!  So. Friggin. Cute. As the sun started to set, I said my farewells the Jenni and Tyler and headed back to San Antonio.  What a great weekend!

Make sure to watch their slideshow here: Jenni and Tyler.
