My blog was having technical difficulties for a while there, so this post is a bit behind, but now that everyhing is fixed, I can finally put these up! Stephanie and Herbie had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Alamo Heights United Methodist (That place was AMAZING and I was just so bummed that they were so very strict about photography rules, which prevented me from getting some side shots that just seemed perfect for the layout there–sad!). The weather was hot but manageable in the shade of the little courtyard where Sephanie and Herbie met each other in private for a special First Look. They were beaming as they looked at each other and I don’t think they even notcied it was hot for a while! We were able to get all of there portraits done in the cooler shady area between chapels and a few inside the air conditioned chapel well before guests started arriving, and then before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. I have to add in here that her flowers were gorgeous and contained some of the most gigantic lilys I have ever seen in my life–wow!!
Stephanie and Herbie exited the church to cheers from their guests and a special sword arch (complete with sword-slap on the rear from one of the guys as Stephanie walked by, lol) and headed off to the Club at Sonterra for the reception. We got a few more lovely portraits of the couple during the cocktail hour and then everyone danced the night away after the sun set. The night ended with a sparkler exit and two very happy newlyweds!
