Baby Hadley’s First Portrait Session

Hadley’s parents came to me after receiving a pretty amazing gift from their aunt (she bought them this session) who has seen my work before.  They were wonderful to work with and their little girl was such a sweetheart!  Baby Hadley did not want to fall asleep for her session until the very end, but she didn’t fuss much at all and we were able to keep her squirmy-ness from getting too crazy as we tried to pose her.  She REALLY wanted to suckle the whole session and even resorted to the tip of daddy’s nose when he got too close, lol.  We eventually let her have mommy’s finger in between shots, and she seemed to like that.  Once she fell asleep, we just moved everything around her instead of jostling her back awake.  I LOVE the little Giraffe props they brought with them (Dad, who is very tall commented that he thought it was a subtle hint about him, lol)!  It’s always so fun when I get to incorporate something from home into a newborn session, especially when it goes with the theme of their nursery.

See more cute images (even the one where she caught dad’s nose) in Hadley’s slidehsow: Hadley.
