Many of you probably remember my sister, Andrea, from her time as my assistant between 2009 and 2012. I am happy to announce that she recently got engaged!! Andrea has been away in Arlington on a full ride scholarship for a teaching degree and while attending, met Leo. They are so perfect for each other that I felt like he fit right in the moment we met and I saw the two of them together. I was so happy when Leo contacted me to ask for my help in planning his proposal (which was SO adorable, involving him creating an awesome cartoon narrative of reasons why they are great together and why he loves her). After he proposed on her birthday in early September, Andrea waited maybe 24 hours to ask me when we could do Engagement Portraits, lol. At least we know her priorities are in the right place after working with me for so long, haha!
Andrea and Leo came down to San Antonio a few weeks ago to do their session at her favorite place–the Japanese Tea Gardens (After years of yelling at her to stop getting distracted by the fish in the pond while we were working, she could FINALLY sit and enjoy them at her leisure and pose for some shots with them!). They chose their outfits perfectly, of course–one neutral set and one that goes with their wedding colors scheme (mainly oranges with pinks and teals with an Indian flair).
I am so happy for them and I can’t wait until her wedding next May!
