I have so enjoyed working with this family and was super excited for Jack’s Bar Mitzvah weekend. I was even more excited when I found out that the new Rabbi at Temple Beth El gave us permission to do photographs on Saturday morning (instead of our usual Friday morning plans) and even for me to stay and photograph some of the services. Unfortunately, it was a VERY last-minute plan, so we didn’t plan far enough out to include all of the service time I would have liked to stay for, but I was still excited to be able to be there for some of it–I am really looking forward to my next Mitzvah here in a few weeks where I will be able to stay for the whole thing! This timing just worked out so well. Everyone arrived on Saturday morning a bit early and we were able to get all of the formal shots of Jack by himself, with the Rabbi, and then all of the family shots done prior to services starting. It was a beautiful day, so we were even able to utilize their beautiful courtyard for some of the portraits–I just love how everything worked out so perfectly! Later that night, it was off to K1 Speedway for the party, and everyone had a blast playing games, screeching across the track in racecars, and dancing under the neon lights. It was a lively party and I loved seeing this gang have such a good time!
