Danielle and Ian’s wedding day dawned bright and beautiful–gorgeous and perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony! I met with Danielle in her small dressing room at La Fontana Springs and was able to witness the important ladies in her life putting on the final touches to transform her into a bride. Her friends buttoned her gown, her mom placed her veil, and her grandmother surprised her with a special heirloom bracelet while tears flowed around the room. Danielle and Ian did not want to see each other before the ceremony, but did request a moment where they could hold hands around the corner before saying “I do.” The couple was nervous but happy and it was so funny to see the giggles all around as Ian tried so hard to NOT peek around the corner at his bride. The ceremony began and went by in a rush, and then the sweet couple became husband and wife! Afterwards, we walked around the venue for some portraits of the newlyweds with their friends and family and then it was time to relax and party. Danielle and Ian’s theme of purple, green, and butterflies dotted the reception room here and there in delicate touches on tables and as a backdrop of light behind the couple’s table. They enjoyed their special dances in front of a scenic window and cut their cake just as the sun started to set. Some fun dances later (I loved he special anniversary dance that honored Danielle’s grandparents!) and lot’s of hugs all around, the happy couple ended the night with a fun bubble exit.
