We just photographed Neely’s younger sister’s Bat Mitzvah in October, and I can’t believe how fast time flew by! Neely’s mom and sister were in my office just the other day to begin working on her custom Bat Mitzvah album, and it made me wonder if I had ever blogged about Neely’s designs…nope! So, 2 years later, I am finally getting these gorgeous designs posted… This family has been so amazing to work with, and I feel like I don’t even have to DO much work with their beautiful girls–they could be photogenic wearing a potato sack! For Neely’s candy themed Bat Mitzvah, we decided to do her “style” session at a candy shop in Austin. It was crazy crowded, but so fun–all the bright colors were so perfect. From that session, we designed bright, candy-themed invitations on a trifold 5×5 card stock, with coordinating RSVP cards. Neely even got a custom 8×8 book from that session to cherish (which I never managed to get photographs of, but I’ll have to see if I can manage it when the girls come back in to the office next time!) for herself. After the big weekend, we kept the bright and fun theme going with her gorgeous 10×10 event album. We used one of her session portraits one more time as the bold cover image, and coordinated a fun tangerine leather around the spine of her album. I love this fun look and I am excited to share what we are creating for her sister, too.
