Rachel became a Bat Mitzvah just over a year ago, so I decided it was about time to finally post all of the beautiful designs we created for her special day. We started off with Rachel’s “style” session at the Botanical Gardens, and were able to use those sweet, beautiful portraits for some really lovely designs. First came the save the date cards for out-of-towners: a classic, elegant look with touches of coral and creamy grey as her theme on a simple two-sided card. Just enough info for people to start planning, and enough fun to get them excited! Next came her invitations–not quite as simple, but still beautifully elegant! We decided on a unique 5×7 gate-fold card for her that opens in the middle, to really highlight the main section of the invitation itself. Matching inserts (for out-of towner events) and RSVP cards accompanied these little beauties in the mail. Finally, we carried the theme through into her custom 8×8 guestbook for Rachel to remember all of the important friends and family that attended her big weekend. Afterwards, once Rachel had gone through her rite of passage and partied the night away, we designed a gorgeous 10×10 event album with a traditional cameo image adorning the front. The deep blue leather cover and gold accents were a perfect match to Rachel’s formal portraits at Agudas Achim and made a nice contrast to her previous bright and airy designs. We even made a 6×6 clone book for Rachel to keep all to herself!
