As if I’m not bad enough about keeping up on my blog…add to it that the site was down for a while due to some technical issues, and then my SEVERE procrastination when it comes to doing work on any of my own stuff..and I am FINALLY getting around to posting about my sweet girl’s 3 month portraits. I’m already planning her 6 month shoot, so figured I better get on this, lol. My girl is always SO smiley and playful at home, but just was. not. having. it. at her session–she somehow didn’t get the memo that mom is a photographer and everyone expects her to be the perfect model, haha. Add to that, that I was being mom, dad (he was at work that day) AND photographer all at once, and this session was HARD. Made me even more relieved that I decided to have a wonderful colleague do the newborn shoot (there is just no way I would have been able to do that while I was recovering from my c section and so sleep deprived).
Even though she was fussy, we still got some super adorable shots of her. I am so in LOVE with that shot of her and her lovey–that little fox blanket has been her favorite favorite favorite thing since we gave it to her and she just has to have it for naps and playtime. Plus, it’s so stinking cute! The amazing lace canopy was a custom order from my friend Jeysel, who also hand made most of her gorgeous headbands.
